MFC2000 medium-voltage frequency converter
The MFC2000 medium-voltage frequency converter enables speed and torque regulation as well as control of AC asynchronous electric motors with a rated voltage of 6 kV AC. It can be used in a wide range of standard and specialized applications, including fans, pumps, compressors, belt conveyors, and test benches.
The MFC2000 delivers high control accuracy via vector control. The ability to independently regulate motor flux and speed provides a fast dynamic response to load fluctuations and high torque at low speeds, including during motor start-up.
The main components of the MFC2000 frequency converter are a medium-voltage transformer, power modules (Power Cells “PC”), and a control system. The entire unit is housed in a cabinet enclosure. Operation of the converter is managed via an HMI operator panel.
