On the 26th of October 2017 in the Prime Minister’s Office took place award ceremony for three engineers of TWEED company: Michał Twerd, Jarosław Załęski, Krzysztof Stępień and three scientist from Warsaw Technical University
This team received the First Prize of the Prime Minister for scientific and technical achievements for 2016 – honored in 2017 awarded by Prime Minister Beata Szydło.
The subject of the joint research was: “Modern power electronic converters dedicated to renewable energy sources and the mining industry.”

On 7 December 2015, during the Polish Product of the Future competition gala, the project submitted jointly with the Institute of Control and Electrical Engineering of the Faculty of Electrical Engineering at Warsaw University of Technology, titled “AC-DC-AC Bidirectional Converter System for High-Pressure Pumping Stations,” received a distinction in the category: “Product of the Future by a Consortium: Scientific Unit – Entrepreneur”
This project also received the Special Award from the Minister of Economy, “eCO2innovation,” for the product with the greatest potential in reducing greenhouse gas emissions.
